Abstract

The bisphosphonate is known for its ability to reduce bone loss in osteoporotic and osseous metastatic conditions. The side effects have been reported after long-term bisphosphonate therapy. We report the case of a
woman who sustained atypical subtrochanteric femoral fracture while being on zoledronic acid(ZometaR, Novartis) therapy for more than 4 years.
